So I think Ill say yes PS: Im not an audiophile, just a listener who knows what drivers are good. It’s more for processing existing bass/low end (like RBass) but it’s very flexible and gives some visual feedback for how much it’s adding to a signal. I think WAVES MaxxAudio makes the sound better due to the controls. Might also be worth checking out Bass Mint. Yep - all of those are great examples of using it for more than just bass. Using Waves’ patented MaxxBass psychoacoustic technology, R-Bass accurately reproduces low. When you need your bass to be heard even on a laptop or mobile device, Renaissance Bass is your best friend. If you are into Waves, they also have Submarine which is a decent alternative to bx_subsynthīx_boom is a kick “enhancer” (I actually don’t know exactly what it’s doing, but it sounds good sometimes) In this episode of MakeMineMusic, Marc Daniel Nelson shares his 4 favorite plugins to achieve heavy low end. If you’re not already in the Waves ecosystem, I wouldn’t recommend jumping into it just for this one plugin. Waves RBass can add higher harmonics, but doesn’t add any low end. I think this might be what you’re looking forīx_subsynth is great for adding additional subharmonic frequencies/low end, but doesn’t add higher harmonics like MBassador. It can add or enhance subharmonic frequencies, and it can also add higher harmonics that make the sub more audible on crappy speakers. Personally I use MBassador, Bass Mint and occasionally bx_subsynth.
